Power-Up Behaviour Reset Pin

Hi 

We are using imx8mp based custom  board.

The resetout pin of our SOMs with Smarc 2.1 interface is defined as P126. It is expected that this pin should be low at the initial moment and later transition to high.

However, in our system,the board is powered the reset pin remains low.

What might be the reason for this, and how can we fix it?

Hello, I hope you are doing well.

Maybe this could be caused by the power-up sequence present on your SOM board, so I suggest check the PMIC. I do not have access to the documentation of your product.
