The focus of this group is power management, which covers issues for power, clocks, timers and buses, including connections to and control of PMICs.  The group’s focus covers these issues for all i.MX devices and OS’s.

You could try one of Wolfson's PMICs, The WM831x and WM832x should support the i.MX25 processor

We haven't seen that problem, but we had to remove the MC34704 from our design as it was drawing 50mA while the rest of the system was asleep! We also managed to blow a couple of the power supplies up through regular use, no shorts etc, maybe they were getting too hot?

I have a customer using the MC34704 with the i.MX25.  When the system is heated in an oven to >70°C, and then power is applied, the MC34704 will NOT power up.  When the system is cooled and power is applied, it runs normally even when heated back to >70°C.

Has anyone seens this problem?

Thank you!
