Unfortunately we do not have a reference design that uses the DA9052 RTC to feed the i.MX53. (Freescale’s i.MX53QSB does use a DA9053 but does not make use of the RTC and rather has a 32kHz crystal connected to the i.MX53 oscillator).
However, Freescale’s i.MX53 Start-R board uses a MC34708 PMIC to generate the RTC and then it feeds it to the i.MX53 processor. I would suggest downloading this schematic and using it as reference.
