PMIC RTC

HI... I'am using iMX53 processor that runs wince7.

I have issues in using PMIC(DA9052) RTC instead of iMX53 RTC.

So can anybody tell me how to use the PMIC RTC?? and any other supported links or docs??

Unfortunately we do not have a reference design that uses the DA9052 RTC to feed the i.MX53. (Freescale’s i.MX53QSB does use a DA9053 but does not make use of the RTC and rather has a 32kHz crystal connected to the i.MX53 oscillator).

However, Freescale’s i.MX53 Start-R board uses a MC34708 PMIC to generate the RTC and then it feeds it to the i.MX53 processor. I would suggest downloading this schematic and using it as reference.
