Dear NXP ,
HW: srg_imx8mp platform (Base on : imx8mplus platform)
Use Micro 2G LPDDR ram .
SW kernel : 5.10.9
Do DDR clibration on the srg_imx8mplus board,
Many boards are successful ,and many boards is failed.
I have done DDR calibration many times on the successful board, it always is successful.
I do DDR calibration many times on the failed board, it always is failed.
When I run MSCALE_DDR_Tool, I want to know how it works.
(1) Use MSCALE_DDR_Tool to download 2G_SRDM.ds file setting to computer. When run
calibration function in PC ,and the Mscale_ddr_tool _v3.20 tool sends 2G_SRDM.ds setting to NXP A53 CPU. The CPU sends 2G_SRDM.ds setting to SDRAM. Is my understanding correct?
(2)As the picture shows:
When I run DDR calibration fail, you can help me analyze what are the reasons for fail.
Dear NXP,
For item 1: Is my understanding correct for this process?
(1) Use MSCALE_DDR_Tool to download 2G_SRDM.ds file setting to computer. When run

Hi Albert
if some boards fail, one can try adjust drive strength ( "ATxImpedance" field) in RPA tool and ODT value.
If this will not help issue may be in poor soldering, one can try to resolder chip.
Best regards
