Microphone input on MX6Q board

Hi there,

I am trying to record audio using the microphone input jack on the MX6Q board. I have followed the instructions in the Linux Reference guide which mentioned that the MIXINR IN3R and INPGAR IN3R to on as the analog microphone input is set to IN3R.

However, when i record using: arecord -r 44100 -f S16_LE -c 2 -d 5 test.wav, there is a monotonous sound but it does not capture the sounds produced. Looking at the schematic, the MIC bias and MIC in are separate lines, i think they should be the same?

Or is there any software settings that i missed?

Thanks!

Hi all, i think the problem maybe the MICROPHONE_DET signal. From the schematic, it shows that the MICROPHONE_DET signal is connected to muxed signal resistors... Anyone can explain what is muxed signal resistors and how to select this MICROPHONE_DET signal?
