MCIMX6Q6AVT10AC DDR3 only 1 512MB-bank stress test

Hi all,

We are currently developing a tablet-based system in which we have 4x 512MB DDR3 memory banks.

We have had an issue regarding DDR3 layout and we cannot use all of these 4 banks due to un-matched signal lenghts, but we need to test other features of the system.

How can configure iMX6 to use only 1 bank?

Can we perform a DDR3 stress test only taking 1 of these banks?

Can we anyway discard 3 banks of DDR3 to copy our OS only into 1 bank?

seems it is possible with selection 16 bit bus width (this will select first ddr

connected to lower 16 bits of MMDC bus, DSIZ field register MMDCx_MDCTL)

DDR Stress Test - Question - why is it slow? 

The same configuration will work for uboot/linux.
