Low-power isolation config

I am checking pad configuration settings for i.MX8DualX. I would like to know detail of low-power isolation setting.

From SCFW porting guide manual (sc_fw_port.pdf)

According to above descriptions, I can chose 4 settings(OFF/EARLY/LATE/ON).

What purpose should these settings be used?

How do these settings work?
