Hello,

I have previously used the linux-imx kernel with the git tags starting with "rel_imx-". It was moved to source.codeaurora.org, and later to https://github.com/nxp-imx/linux-imx/.

The latest git tag for "rel_imx" is rel_imx_5.4.70_2.3.7. Are there any plans to update to a newer version of the kernel? Have you stopped using the "rel_imx" tags?

why do you need to know this? currently, refer to the official yocto building guide, for example, 6.6.3 bsp, you can refer to this

https://github.com/nxp-imx/imx-manifest/blob/imx-linux-nanbield/imx-6.6.3-1.0.0.xml

 revision="refs/tags/rel_imx_6.6.3_1.0.0",

But there are still differences between for example the two tags "v5.4.70" and "rel_imx_5.4.70_2.3.7". What was the purpose of the "rel_imx" tags? And what have they been replaced with?
