Is git://git.freescale.com still supported?

I can clone using git clone http://git.freescale.com/git/cgit.cgi/imx/imx-firmware.git but it fails when I use git://git.freescale.com/imx/imx-firmware.git

The Yocto recipe I'm using fails to fetch because it uses the git protocol.

Is the service down or no longer supported?

For anyone else that ever has this issue, check with the network team. :smileyhappy:

In my case, after I noticed that git.yoctoproject.org was also not working, I suspected that we were blocking port 9418 (git protocol) and we were. The only traffic that wasn't blocked was github and bitbucket which gave me the wrong impression that the service was down.
