IOMUX Configuration for UART

Hi,

      I am designing i.MX53 multimedia board. I am planning to use single UART3 to serial booting (UART0/1/2/4/5 is used).

      i.MX53 Reference Manual's table 7-43 states "TXD->EIM_D25.alt2 and RXD->EIM_D24.alt2", but iomux tool and Reference Manual's other statements is states "RXD->EIM_D25.alt2 and TXD->EIM_D24.alt2".

So which one is correct? is it err in table 7-43?

Hi Ronak,

Go by IO MUX. Freescale has used it like this in one of their reference design. "RXD->EIM_D25.alt2 and TXD->EIM_D24.alt2".
