IMXRT1176 Errors

Hi,

We are using RT1170 MCU for our cluster application.

When we are connecting 7" LCD to our custom board out of 7 boards we are getting unknown errors as attached screenshot in 3 boards(while we are running the code, its going to 'usagefault handler' after some time, the time is not definite)and CPU frequency stops and  it is in hanging condition.Without connecting LCD everything works just fine.

Attached is the MCU ,SDRAM and LCD Schematics for your reference.

Let us know what possibly causing this issue?

Hi @Chethanbg ,

If you have 7 custom boards, but 3 of them had this issue, I would suspect there might be some soldering issue on those boards, did rest of them behave normally as expected all the time? Please kindly clarify.

Hi,

All 7 boards have same issue but the time duration is different

3 boards are hanging after 20 secs and other 4 boards are hanging after 2 hours

Hi @Chethanbg ,

Was the frame buffer for the LCD in a none cache area? If not, please do so and check if the problem is still there.

Hi @Kan_Li 

We resolved issue .

As per recommendation FlexSPI_DQS pin should be left floating  for 133Mhz.in our custom board we connected  FlexSPI_DQS pin to GPIO function.

We reduced speed to 60Mhz now all the devices are working fine.
