Dear team,

My customer is using iMX8MMINI and they plan to use VoiceSpot to wake up our MPU.

Can you please advise how the customer add a custom model to VoiceSpot to wake up his MPU?

In NXP GitHub there is ONLY a Bin file for the "Hey NXP" voiceSpot model and the customer needs to make and test VoiceSpot models for other wake words such as "Amazon".

Waiting for your kind feedback, many thanks.

Shai

i have the same problem.

the FAQ says it's possible but not more than that. I'm building my prototype with porcupine.  i trained my model very fast without any dataset and it was very easy. I don't understand why NXP needs a dataset.

Q: Are custom wake words supported?

A: Yes, custom wake words can be created as per customer request. A dataset is needed to create a custom wake word, which can either be provided by the customer or collected by NXP at additional cost.
