Hello, NXP!

I am wondering about release date of IMX8M Plus with onboard NPU.

When development board for this processor will be available for order?

Are you going to make public reference design for this processor like for previous families?

Thank you.

Any updates? Are you going to share PCB reference design for that CPU?

Yes,  there is going to be an EVK board, and we are going to share Schematics, Layout an other information in order to replicate the design

@jamesbone We are at the end of February, 2021 now, so is that going to happen soon? You started to advertise you board more than one year in advance, giving an impression that the board will be ready soon. So, what is the progress since then? Can you share updates??

Not to ask a question you can't answer, but it has been a couple of months.

Any updates you can share on the 8M Plus line, either regarding an evaluation kit or a preliminary datasheet/reference manual?

Best regards,

Brady

Hello Almaz,

Unfortunately we are not able to share any information about the release yet.  But you can contact your Sales Team, they can share directly the probably dates for the device.  I apologize for any inconvenience that this may affect you.

Have a great day,
TIC
