Hello,

I want to ask whether there are some examples to test imx8mqevk HDMI ? For example, showing some pictures or videos, or QT demo ?

Sincerely.

Hello,

probably might be funny reason but on MEK CPU board there is no HDMI signal if the mouse/keyboard are not plugged into the USB connector. Just make sure it is not this reason :smileyhappy:

the default demo image supports HDMI directly, you can use mfgtool to download demo image to board then boot up, you can play video or somthing to the HDMI directly

Hi Joan Xie,

If I stop uboot, there are something displayed on the HDMI display. But when I start the linux, it's "no signal" on the display.

I use the image L4.9.51 and bitbake fsl-image-qt5-validation-imx-xwayland.

Dear Xie,

No, I cannot solve the problem. I also try the 4.9.123 kernel, but no HDMI signal.

Sincerely.

I haven't tested this version, but when I use UUU tool to program the newer yocto version, the image supports HDMI output as default
