IMX7 Use SDMA ROM Script with FTM or GPT

Dear all,

Running in Linux 4.1.15, we would like to use the SDMA to get input capture value from the FlexTimer (FTM) or General Purpose Timer.

Is it possible using the existing SDMA ROM script ? For example app_2_mcu one ?

Is there an example or a document to explain how to do it ?

in general this is possible however current nxp linux does not support that.
