IMX6Q Kernel Version V4.1.15

we are using IMX6Q, why the NXP latest kernel version is 4.1.15,according to the kernel naming rules,  the kernel version is 4.x.y ,if the second number is odd number ,means the kernel version is developing and is not stable version,

could you tell why you are select the 4.1.15 as the base version?TKS!
