Hi,

we are using an imx6DP on our project.

we are facing some DDR3 issue (stress test does not work well).

Looking at datasheet, there is some evolution on the DualPlus/QuadPlus, and some improvment on the DDR controller side (some TRIM delay, NOC scheduler...)

The excel file we used is the DDR3-ScriptAid V0.10.xlsx, but the dualPlus is not available in it.

After Reading the EB828.pdf document, we applied some modification (mostly the MAAPRCR regicter configuration to disable both reordering and arbitration), and stress test seems quite more stable.

the document EB828.pdf, says in Reference chapter, that there is a script for DualPlus/QuadPlus.

where can i find this one? I would like to check my configuration. (i've seen that in uboot imx6qp sabreauto cfg file, some new registers appears)

Thanks in advance

Regards

Laurent

thanks for your answer.

Few time after posting the question, we found the correct excel file, and now,

we have a stress test running during all over the week-end

Hello Laurent,

I’m not aware on a fixed script but there is a Programming Aid tool for the i.MX6DP/QP variants (linkb below) so migrating to this tool should be your first step as to set the registers that are unique to the Plus versions.

Would you please try setting up the DDR registers using this version of the tool and let us know if it helps?

I hope this helps!
