As you already noticed the 3.10.x Linux kernel version lacks of a SPI driver working as slave.
I assume you have already seen this
i.MX6 ESPI slave mode support patch based on rel_imx_3.0.35_4.1.0
It is for 3.0.35 but I suggest you to use it as reference to add slave support.
