Hi - I'm trying to set up a build environment for creating applications on the QuickStart and/or the SABRE tablet. The goal is to build an OpenGL Gnome application; I would like to use the VMWare Ubuntu image which shipped with both products as my host environment. Is there a particular way IMX53 developers are creating a build environment for applications?
Is "ltib" the normal way applications are developed for this platform? I could install a cross-compiler on my host, but I don't want to manage and build all of the dependencies if I can avoid it.
I see that the pre-built Ubuntu image contains the OpenGL ES v2 library as well as the SDL, and PNG libraries, so I'm hoping there is a way to recreate that environment.
Thanks,
Michael
I'm going to assume something like this is the preferred process, unless there is a better way...
