Hi,
I am using imx6 sabre lite board rev2. Is it having hardware queuing (802.1Qav FQTSS) support? Kindly suggest me
Thanks & regards,
Mythili.R
Solved! Go to Solution.
The i.MX6 Q/D/S/DL/SL do not support 802.1 Qav.
But You may apply i.MX6 SX, which supports the following :
AVB (Audio Video Bridging, IEEE 802.1Qav) features:
• Credit-based bandwidth distribution policy can be combined with time-based
shaping
• AVB endpoint talker and listener support
• Support for arbitration between different priority traffic (for example, AVB class
A, AVB class B, and non-AVB)
i.MX 6SoloX Family of Applications Processors|Freescale
Have a great day,
Yuri

Hi Yuri Muhin,
Thanks for your response.
iMX6 SX has linux 802.1Qav Driver available in its kernel or we have to write our Qav driver?

As I know, the AVB streaming is not supported in default BSP releases.
Customers can ask FSL professional service team to provide the service with
more functionalities on AVB.

Yuri.
