As a part of of our remote upgrade procedure,I would like to flash and boot the target from a secondary partition (for ex: /dev/sdb7 instead of /dev/sdb2). I modified the script to flash the bootlets in secondary partition i.e., /dev/sdb7 but not sure how to boot from the secondary partition.
Please let me know if you've any pointers?. My fdisk is as follows:
/ltib$ sudo fdisk -lu /dev/sdb
Disk /dev/sdb: 7969 MB, 7969177600 bytes 246 heads, 62 sectors/track, 1020 cylinders, total 15564800 sectors Units = sectors of 1 * 512 = 512 bytes Sector size (logical/physical): 512 bytes / 512 bytes I/O size (minimum/optimal): 512 bytes / 512 bytes Disk identifier: 0x77826d86
