How to start weston without gpu

 Now I am using LCDIF->DSI->HDMI for main display on mx8mq yocto， but once I removed GPU from device tree(.dts)， It seems the wayland/weston doesn't startup, and it is black screen. So how can I start wayland/weston without gpu?

Any suggestion are welcome!

Here is a document regarding to Weston:

It is about i.MX6 but there is nothing very special to i.MX8.

It seems there are two import patchs as blew:

Original Attachment has been moved to: 0002-Enable-weston-for-Vivante-GPU.patch.zip

Original Attachment has been moved to: 0001-DRM-condition.patch.zip

But It seems I can't open it. Could you support it for me?
