We use imx25 internal LCD controller and shared LPDDR, which occupy about 45M bandwith.
How to reduce the bandwith occupied by LCDC?
Does LCDC self-reflesh mode benefit it? If so, how to change to self-refresh mode?
I set self-refresh mode in LCDC, but screen becomes white. I wonder whether there is others need modify?
The i.MX25 LCDC supports “dumb” display, which screen must be refreshed
by the LCDC, since frame buffer is located in i.MX25 system memory. In this
sense the LCDC does not support display self-refresh. Moreover I have some
doubts if Your display can be configured for such (self-refresh) mode.
In the same time, the i.MX25 SLCDC is intended just for smart, self-refreshed
displays, that have embedded frame buffer. But note, the SLCDC interface differ
from the LCDC one. Special LCD should be applied with the SLCDC.
Hi Huang,
I am also trying to interface LCD with imx28. can you please guide me the procedure how you did it?
Thanks & Regards
Hi Mallikarjuna,
Sorry. I don't know how to use self-refresh mode also.
Best Regards
