Hi! Has there been any development on RTLinux on the MX6?
Has anyone been able to construct a robust RTLinux system on this platform? (I do not see any Freescale chips listed in the 'tested RTLinux' platforms at https://rt.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT_Patch#Platforms_Tested_and_in_Use_with_CONFIG...)

Hi Jean-Pierre
For whatever it is worth, I took a recent RT patch set sometimes
ago and ran it on a sabre sd board. I was doing some audio related
tests and it seemed pretty stable to me.
Hope this helps.

Hi Sinan, thanks for that input.
If audio is working well under a loaded RTLinux system that is an excellent test!
I wonder if RTLinux is as functional on the MX28 & MX25 we're using...
Thanks! :smileyhappy:
Hi Jean-Pierre
I just dug up a bit to see what I did earlier.
It seems I took 3.14.3-rt5 for testing some
latencies with RT.
I have also an imx28eval board that I
can give this a try. This week is a bit too
busy but perhaps next week. Let me know
if you haven't done this by yourself by that
time.

Hi Sinan, thank you very much for that offer. That would be valuable information.
It's good to know that there is kernel-level support and that it 'should work'. I am not well versed into how to properly test if RTLinux works on embedded board, so if you happen to be working on the MX28 and its not too much hassle that would be very useful!
Thanks!
