I created an environment of android 7.1 using "MCIMX6DL-SDP + IMXEBOOKDC4-EPD".
However, even if I enter the lunch command, "sabresd_6dp_eink-eng (user)" does not appear.
(Created by referring to AndroidTM User's Guide Document Number: AUG Rev. N 7.1.1 - 1.0.0, 03/2017)
The source used is below.
How can I get sabresd_6dp_eink-eng (user) on lunch?
You're building on Linux
Lunch menu... pick a combo:
The only supported build names are the one that is in the document. You only need to use the sabresd_6dq-user build name an change the boot args to boot from an epdink display.
However, your board probably does not support an EPDINK display. Can you please provide me the complete part number?
Moreover, since Android Ice Cream Sandwich that we do not support the ink display for our Android releases. For that, I recommend you to use a Linux distribution (Yocto).
Currently, MCIMX6DL-SDP + IMXEBOOKDC4-EPD
I am working with android4.4.2 + Patch.
(EPD has changed to 13.3 inch)
In the demo image of Android 7.1.1
i.MX 7 and i.MX 6 are the same source
How do you create an epdc version?
I apologize for the late answer.
First of all the demo image that you have is for the i.mx7d not for the i.mx6dl. Unfortunately, we also do not give support for that image, since is an alpha image. Moreover, I get notified that we do not support the epdink display for Android distributions because we do not support colorless displays for Android distributions. For that, like I said you before. I recommend you to use our Yocto distributions.
