How to make iMX8QXP MEK as USB device?

After the iMX8QXP MEK board is boot from SD card or eMMC, I connected USB-C port to a PC running Windows10. Then PC cannot detect the board as USB device. However, if boot from serial download mode, then PC can detect the board as USB device, using the usbview. Is USB2.0 OTG disabled if boot from SD/eMMC?

I followed the document below, the sections of "Exact steps", and successfully make imx8qxp board detected by PC as a mass storage device. (Hint: depend on your intended usb function, you may tailor the function name in 'mkdir functions/acm.GS0'. For example, in my case: mkdir functions/mass_storage.0
