How to add a file to a custom partition

Hi Team,
I have a custom partition craeted for my wic image.
This is my configuration on wks.in file: part /rescue --ondisk mmcblk --fstype=ext4 --mkfs-extraopts "-I 256" --label Database --align 8192 --fixed-size 500M
Now i want to add a file "a.bin" to this partition.
Can someone guide me how to do it.
