Heat test on iMx6

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering what kind of tests can be done to try heating up iMx6 as most as it can. What would be a good test to try getting the highest temperature as possible? Run 720 or 1080p videos for a while, ...

Is there any specific android App (maybe using openGL) that can perform this task?

Our testing shows that the GPU demos like /opt/viv_samples/vdk/tutorial3_es20 cause the biggest increase in power consumption, and VPU tests second.

We have a forthcoming image release that can drive three displays on a SABRE Lite or Nitrogen6X board that makes it fairly easy to do both at the same time.

We followed the instructions described on http://boundarydevices.com/ltib-image-i-mx6-sabre-lite-nitrogen6x/ and everything is running ok. Could you give us a help on how to run the /opt/viv_samples/vdk/tutorial3_es20?

You should be able to simply change to that directory and run:, though you may have to modprobe galcore first.
