H.264 encoder Input data format support

Hi all,

I want to know a input data format of H.264 encoder.

I 've known that i.MX8MMini support following formats.

YCbCr formats: o YCbCr 4:2:0 planar o YCbCr 4:2:0 semiplanar o YCrCb 4:2:0 semi-planar o YCbYCr 4:2:2 raster-scan
1) o CbYCrY 4:2:2 raster-scan 1)
RGB formats:1) o RGB444 and BGR444 o RGB555 and BGR555 o RGB565 and BGR565 o RGB888 and BRG888 o
RGB101010 and BRG101010

How about i.MX8 ?

Hello,

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee what will be the supported raw formats for the i.MX8Q and i.MX8QX until the products are completely released. What I suggest you is to test with gst-inspect-1.0 vpuenc_h264. However, this may be subject to change. There is no guarantee that it will work.
