Generic purpose ADC iMX6

I would like to use the ADC to monitoring an analog signal in my board.

A very basic question.

How to use the ADC in iMX6?

How could I setup the adc in the device tree? Could I use the fsl,imx25-adc  driver on imx6 ?

only i.MX66SX,UL have ADC, test procedure can be found in

attached Linux Manual Chapter 56 ADC Driver
