Hi team,

I have seen in the document that "make sure your kernel and GPU drivers are match", I am using the kernel version 5.10.175 with imx-gpu-viv-6.4.3 version.

i was getting segmentation fault in libEGL.so.1.5.0 for qt5 then I fetched the upstream library with libEGL.so.1.1.0 and its working fine.

Will this version match to work properly?

I am asking this because I am facing very much CPU usage in the application.

Please help me to understand this!

Regards,

Rk

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in NXP Semiconductor products

Normally, when using BSP you could refer to Linux release notes, for instance, https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=L5.10.72_2.2.3_LINUX_RN

Here you would find the version to use, check page 6. For Kernel 5.10.72_2.2.3

And that would be an easy but necessary as seen process.

Thanks Joseph,

Then i am using the correct vivante version.

But the issue is I am getting the segment fault during running the Qt5 GUI application, I checked the all possible option mentioned in DOC i.MX_Reference_Manual.pdf 5.3 and other application is not using the GPU and eating lots of CPU .

Please help me to find the issue for not using the GPU .

details.

Using the imx-linux-hardknott version 5.10

vivante version - 6.4.3

X11 display manager.

Regards,

Rk
