FlexCAN on Android 7.1.1

Hello all,

How do I add the Freescale FlexCAN driver (All Boards FlexCAN ) to the latest android kernel from freescale (n7.1.1_1.0.0-ga)?

Hi Igor,

Thanks for the reply this will come in very handy in the future but the root problem I am having is that 'can0' or 'can1' do not appear in the list of devices when typing 'ifconfig -all'.

How do I add the can devices to the Linux kernel in the freescale Android 7.1.1 release?

sabresd board does not support flexcan, please build image for

sabre ai board which supports flexcan, refer to sect.37.2.4 Linux Menu Configuration

Options attached Linux Manual.

Hi Igor,

I built the image for saber ai (sabreauto_6q) however this does not appear to work on the sabreSD board.

I am using mfgtools to load the image into emmc (mfgtool2-android-mx6dl-sabresd-emmc.vbs). Did I use the correct configuration?

Hi Aaron

sabre ai image will not work on sabre sd board as these two boards are different.

One can check sabre ai dts for can records and make similar changes to sabre sd file.
