File transfer between imx28 and host PC

Hello mates!

I'm quite noob with the imx28 evaluation board. I've been able to flash a kernel to a SD card and boot from there. Also I've been able to log to the board using RS232 terminal.

I'd like to install java and transfer some files from my host PC to the board. Any help would be appreciated.

You can use use z-modem protocol in the terminal you are using to connect the board.

First you need to connect the board and run "rz" utility. It will wait for the file to be sent.

Then you need to transfer the file from the terminal.

For example in minicom you need to press Ctrl+A and Z and then S for this option.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I do rz in my mx28 I get: "rz not found".
