Hello,

I want to connect 8 LEDs (4mA each, 32mA total) directly to GPIO pins.
Is it possible?
or it should be necessary to add a driver?

I couldn't find the total maximum current in the datasheet. The only information is the maximum current of a pin, +/-4mA depending on the ipp_dse value.

Thanks

Hi,

Pls refer to table 22 in the data sheet of i.mxrt1060, the current of each I/O cell in push/pull output mode is +/-1mA(sink/source current), so you have to connect a transistor or mosfet to drive led if it requires 4mA current.

Hope it can help you
