Hi,
We’d like to use SPL uboot in coming project to handle initialization of different DDR RAM models (due to EOL).
However, if mfgtool doesn’t support SPL uboot, it’s quite awkward to support 2 mode of uboot in one project and defeat the purpose of SPL uboot.
I’d like to know if NXP would support SPL uboot in mfgtools or NXP has any other method to solve this issue.
Thanks.
Hi Igor,
May I know whether mfgtool is an open source?
Any way we can get the source code?
Thanks.
Regards,
Robin
Hi Robin
please look at
i.MX6Q|i.MX 6Quad Processors|Quad Core|NXP
Programmers (Flash, etc.) (13)
Source Code for the i.MX manufacturing tool used for downloading OS images
to the i.MX 6 Processors (REV 2.3.2)

Hi Robin
you are right, mfg tool does not support spl uboot, I am not
aware of plans for its integration. In general one can apply to
to NXP Professional Services for that:
