Does Android JB supports Dual Display?

Hi Everyone,

I have a custom iMX6-solo board and am trying dual display on two LVDS showing different contents. Though LVDS can be operated in four modes namely split,dual,separate and single, I could get only mirror image of one lvds display over the other. Does Android OS recognizes two displays at a time ?

Android Doesn't provide this feature.

You need to modified the Android frame works.

If you have specific content needs to run on 2nd display than it can be possible with minimal change.

Which version of android BSP are you using? android_jb4.2.2_1.1.0-ga_source or android_jb4.3_1.0.0-ga_source?
