Documentation for IBIS AMI model set iMX8

Hello,

we downloaded and reviewed the IBIS / IBIS-AMI data set of the iMX8.

Unfortunately we are missing some documentation for the IBIS-AMI models, especially for USB3, e.g. parametrizing the equalizers etc.

In the data sheet or user manual we didn't find the required information.

We are using Hyperlynx as simulator.

in the USB3 TX IBIS-AMI model, there are e.g. 4 models selectable in the model selector, see screenshot.

What is the exact meaning of these 4 models and the background of that?

Hello,

I suggest you use usb3_out_tx_testing.

There is no documentation related to the other models since were used for internal testing and this is a dedicated out in the IOMUX documentation.
