We use an i.mx7D and an i.mx6UL in our system.
Together they communicate over Ethernet. Both are close to each other located (< 10cm)
Is there a way to connect both without the use of a switch or an PHY, to reduce parts and cost?
Maybe direct with RMII or MII interface? ( MAC to MAC)
We only found some answer, that it somehow should be possible, but it's actually not clear for us how.
