I found differences between the i.MX28 datasheet and Freescale product page according to external RAM support.

From my understanding all i.MX28 processors (including i.MX280) support DDR2. Am i right?

I'm using an i.MX287 with Winbond W972GG6JB-25 2G bit DDR2 SDRAM or W9751G6KB-25 1G bit DDR2 with no problems.  I think the i.MX28 family are fundamentally the same at that level so will all support DDR2 RAM.
