Decoding multiple H.264 streams with i.MX8M VPU?

Hi,

the i.MX8M's VPU features a 1080p60 H.264 decoder (up to high profile). Is it possible to use this VPU to decode *multiple* streams with a lower frame rate, e.g. 4 streams of 15 fps each? Or possibly even more streams with a lower resolution and/or profile, like maybe 6 x 720p15 (low profile)?

2to4 IP Streams from Camera and it should be shown on monitor.

Is it possible with i.MX8M or i.MX8MQM?

Yes its possible, MX8M its up to

• 4K @ 60fps with High Dynamic Range:
  - h.265
• 4K @ 30fps
  - h.264

Thanks for the response, but I guess my question was not clear enough, so let me get more specific:

My customer is using several IP cameras and their capture should be shown on a display. So there are 2-4 H.264 streams that have to be decoded.

Is this possible with the i.MX8M VPU?
