Custom IMX6Q Hardware Board Bringup Issue

Hello,

I have a custom IMX6Q based hardware. I have checked the power supplies and sequencing of these power supplies and that seems to be okay. I have measured various CAP voltages and they are also fine except VDDUSB_CAP which is 2.7V instead of 3V. Is this a problem?

I have been trying to boot in Serial downloader mode by setting the boot mode pins as required but the Host machine doesn't detect my  board as HID complaint device as explained in DDR Tester User manual.

Can someone suggest some ways in order to make sure that the USB OTG Serial downloader works. Any suggestion is welcome.

Hi Raj

you can try to test processor with SDK (one can run it with jtag)

and test USB interface

i.MX 6Series Platform SDK : Bare-metal SDK

and check all items given in Chapter 2 Design Checklist
