Hi

I'm trying to use the Cortex-M4 core on the iMX6sx on our customized board.

I tried to follow this guide:
https://bootlin.com/blog/using-the-cortex-m4-mcu-on-the-i-mx6-solox-from-linux/

I tried to integrate the imx6sx-sdb-m4.dts into our device tree, but linux does not manage to start properly.

Is there a guide how to setup the device tree properly to configure the M4 core?

Regards,

Sandro

Hello @sFurter

I hope you are doing very well.

Please refer to the imx6sx-sdb-m4.dts.

You can take it as example.

Best regards,

Salas.

Hi @Manuel_Salas

Thanks I'm doing good, I hope you too?

Yes I took imxsx-sdb-m4.dts as a reference.

I found this guide to start the M4 core from U-Boot (Hello World Application).

https://www.embeddedartists.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/iMX6SoloX_Working_with_Cortex-M4.pd

But I have no output on the console UART2 and when I proceed booting to Linux (with the modified dtb) it does not run properly.

Am I missing something (obviously yes )

Regards,

Sandro
