Configure u-boot to display a VGA image?

Hi,

    Is there anyway (via re-build of u-boot or setenv) to tell u-boot to display an image on the VGA screen duing boot time?  I know linux displays the Penguin as it's booting up, but I'm wondering if u-boot can do that as well?
