Hi All,

Platform : imx6solo/6Dualite based customized board

kernel: 3.10.17

Can i send black frames to framebuffer before splashscreen(logo) appears ?

If it is possible then how can i pass (black frames) in the driver level ?

Please let me know your views,

HI paraneeth,

you may want to customize the splash screen to show a black screen instead the logo. Please take a look to the following thread. How do I customize the splashscreen image in U-boot?

Thanks for your reply.

But  my question is on Linux kernel, there was a flickering just before splash screen(logo) appears, how can i send black frames to frame buffer.
