Camera Preview Software color conversion

Hi,

I found that in Camera framework , Camera preview uses software color conversion.

which added loads on the CPU..

I have following questions.

- Why this YVU422 to NV12 conversion required for the Camera preview?

- Why it is done in software? Can we used the IPU to do color conversion?

could you tell me what demands you need? yes, IPU can do the color space conversation, DP has CSC(color space conversion) module to support this.

I have already used IPU to do this color conversion and removed software CSC.
