CHIP_SELECT and CHANNEL_SELECT

Hi all,

A doubt. Sorry if this seems to be silly..

While developing a device driver (SPI), i came across two terms (in codes from two different resources): CHIP_SELECT and CHANNEL_SELECT.

My question is, in general, there chip select and channel select both are same? or different? If different, please explain about channel select...

Hi KeshavaGN,

As general understanding, SPI port only has CS concept.

So I think the two defines are same meaning.
