Booting Dual plus Q7

Hello All,

I have a working bootloader 2015.04 for quad plus i.mx6 SOM. But when i use the same bootloader for dual plus,

1. It doesn't boot

or

2. It might be booting but i don't see anything on console.

I was wondering what could be the issue?

Is there any major difference that would cause an issue in booting dual plus?

Hi,

There should be no difference when booting Dual versus Quad, you should check your SOM module for issues, if you have only tested one board it would seem more likely to be a board/build issue than a silicon one.

PS if you have not already seen the Hardware Developers Guide, you should take a look at that, it has some helpful information for bringing boards up and checking for issues -
