Boot Contact Pins

Hi Folks,

Can anybody give me any advice on the best way to set up the boot contact pins on the IMX257?

I wish to know if they all MUST be connected or can I connect the ones corresponding to NAND Flash (which I am using) to high, whilst leaving the non-required pins as no-connect.  I know this is classed as floating and may not be a good idea.

Else, I must use pull down resistors, but I worry that this may affect the use of the peripherals associated with these pins, such as CSPI2.

Any advice would be most gratefully received

yes this is interesting, but is there any tool to read/blow fuses status for prototipe and production?

Hello David,

Instead of using the external IO you can use the e-fuses to determine how the SoC boots.
