Hi NXP,
I have a question..
Do you provide IMX6 board's BSP through Yocto project only or provides through the general distribution channel ?
Recently, I have started S/W development on IMX6 boards and saw many documents using Yocto for IMX6 BSP.
for me, Yocto is very complex and not easy to handle it..
My target is to make very tiny kernel and rootfs for IMX6 and doesn't need everything from Yocto.
If you can provide me your general BSP(toolchain, kernel, uboot, rootfs) for IMX6, it will be very appreciated..
Thanks a lot..
Best Regards,
HJ

Hi Hj
Yocto is simple.
Rootfs and tool chain you can build using Yocto.
After that you can work independently for kernel and u-boot.
Following are the links from where you can download the u-boot and kernel source code.
u-boot.git - Automotive U-Boot Tree
linux-2.6-imx.git - Freescale i.MX Linux Tree
Thanks
Saurabh
Hi HJ,
If you want an easy to use BSP you can go here: RidgeRun , we have SDKs for several iMX6 eval boards and you can get a free evaluation version of any of our SDKs. Depending on your needs this would be enough or a good starting point and you can always reach us for any help you need.
Here is also the downloads page:
And here you can find some useful information:
